They paired up local farms and beverages with a designer. I got paired up with 2Gingers Irish Whiskey. The handwriting is Kieran's own handwriting and part of a belief that's instilled in the company. I took that line and expanded on it to create a montage of lucky symbols with 2Gingers being the focus. He wanted to replace his old site, showcase some of the new work he's done, offer some new freefonts and have it all work in a snappy mobile environment. I worked with Scott Anderson (room34) to develop a flexible system that works universally between desktop and mobile environments. It uses responsive web techniques to create a fluid experience for both. She had asked that the look be contemporary but stylish and classy and she didn't want to abandon the logo that was created for her. I was able to come up with a light pattern that she enjoyed and used it along with the predefined colors and type to create a cohesive package.
